Seems with newer and newer versions of Windows, Microsoft seems to be locking things down more and more.

If you are having trouble with "Please check to make sure your directory is not READ ONLY" errors, you MAY have to run Hurricane in Administrator mode, to avoid the message, and allow everything to function.

If you have any trouble with this, please let use know!

Bill

Got it working by transferring files to a USB. Thanks for your help.

No location on local PC will work including C:\temp or C:\%user%\documents

This will work

Thanks

Chris

Then it sounds like you don't have a system issue, but rather an AutoCAD issue. (Unless your v2019 drawings are in one folder and your v2016 are in another, each with different permissions).

Are the drawings all together in the same folder?

Another thing to try... use the "SAVEAS" option, and save all drawings to a different location, and to a different version. (Just as a test), see if that reveals anything...

Keep me posted!
Thx

Try these:

1) Move Hurricane to it's own directory off the root of C
(i.e. "C:/Hurricane")

2) Right Click Hurricane.exe and "Run as Administrator"

3) Inside Hurricane, ensure the "Batch SCRipt output path" is set to someplace with no/low security (i.e. c:/temp)
(Found under Tools->Options->Config Tab)

Let me know how it goes!

Thanks for the quick response Bill.

Done the above and still have issues.

Just an update it appears to be only drawings saved in AutoCAD 2019, drawings saved in AutoCAD 2016 do not have an issue.

Thanks

Chris

Bill

Is this still an issue. I think the latest Windows 10 update may have blocked me again.

All I get is Error #6 everytime I run a script now and the files are not read only. (I have also moved them multiple times to try different locations)

Thanks

Chris
