If Hurricane is how you CHANGE drawings in batch, Tornado is how you find out what is WRONG with them in batch. It is the new sister tool in the 74mph family, and it is coming soon.

Tornado DWG Scanner is a batch auditor and reporter for AutoCAD. Point it at a folder, a whole tree, or a Hurricane file list, and it reads every drawing and hands you a spreadsheet-style report across your entire set in minutes, without opening a single file by hand.
BUILD YOUR OWN REPORT
Drag the checks you care about into a report chain and save it as a reusable recipe. Close to 80 checks across 12 categories are on offer, and Tornado tailors the list to what your AutoCAD install can actually run.
BROWSE the contents of a single drawing with the "Drawing Explorer" feature. Easily file elements you want to focus on, and include in your scan/reports.
WHAT IT CAN CHECK
= File and standards: DWG version, file bloat, edit time, drawing properties, units, INSUNITS, LTSCALE, DIMSCALE, plot style mode, and more
= Layers: counts, empty layers, objects on layer 0, non-standard names, frozen, off and locked states, xref-dependent layers
= Blocks and attributes: insert counts, title-block attribute extraction (your drawing register), dynamic, nested, anonymous and unresolved blocks
= Xrefs and underlays: attached count, missing references, absolute versus relative paths, PDF and image underlays
= Text, dimensions and annotation: text and font audits, dimension styles, wipeouts, revision clouds, exploded dimensions, annotation scales
= Layouts and plotting: page setups, plot styles, plotters, viewports, named views
= Entity census and geometry: counts by type, proxy objects, zero-length junk, 3D objects, line and area takeoffs by layer, hatch areas, block quantities
= Health: purge preview, hard-coded properties, non-standard styles, and more
MAKE IT ENFORCE YOUR STANDARDS
Most checks are tunable. Set the expected value and Tornado turns a plain report into a pass or fail against YOUR office standard: flag any drawing whose units, LTSCALE, DIMSCALE, plot style, saved current layer, or DWG version does not match. Add your own flag rules to color any cell amber or red, then filter the results down to just the offenders.
RESULTS YOU CAN ACT ON
Sort and filter the grid, click a row to open the drawing or reveal it in Explorer, right-click for more, and see the drawing's embedded preview. Export to Excel with the flag colors intact, or to CSV or JSON.
THE HURRICANE LOOP (this is the good part)
Audit a whole tree in Tornado, filter to the problem drawings, and export the list. Load that list straight into Hurricane's Queue and batch-fix them. Then re-run Tornado on the same list to confirm the fixes cleared. The lists hand off both ways with no folder hunting, because Tornado finds Hurricane's file-list folder automatically. Hurricane does the changes, Tornado does the reporting, and together they close the loop.
